One Year & Going Strong
2015 totally rocked my world!
You see, a little over a year ago, Solstice Publishing released my first novel, A Life Without Living, book one in the Strega Series. Since then, I’ve been whisked into the crazy world of being a published author which includes book signings, convention appearances, blog hops, radio interviews and podcast chats! I have met so many people that I would have never met if Solstice had not taken a chance on me. Oh, and I’ve made some pretty amazing new friends, as well.
I have been building a following on Facebook (www.facebook.com/scalban) and Twitter (@muchasfloras), and yes, the reviews are trickling in. I can feel the momentum building and I’m eternally grateful for all of the support that my fans have given me along the way. I’m loving every minute of this crazy ride and I don’t plan on stopping soon!
As 2016 approaches, I am excited by what is on the calendar. The second book in the Strega Series, Barely Living Alive, is well underway and gaining speed. A screen adaptation of Missy Turner’s The Push is in the works with editing near on the horizon. In May, I will be with the Solstice Publishing table at the Book Expo of America in Chicago. And, I’ll also be popping up at various coffee shops/book stores throughout California this summer!
Life is crazy and busy and exciting and wonderful, and I have to thank Solstice for helping to make my dreams come true.
So, in honor of Solstice Publishing (and, since it is the Winter Solstice) I’d like to give away an e-copy of my novel to SEVEN lucky people. All you have to do is comment on how 2015 rocked your world and you will be entered in the raffle. The contest will be open until December 31st.
